A home game for the experienced players.

Often we face an opposition where we have to just hang on for the ride but on Saturday it felt like a level playing field for once. The play was fairly evenly balanced between the sides but there was a feeling that if we got it together we could possibly win. Due to an unavailability of youth, the team was largely built around experience which was always going to be a challenge against a team of students . We did have Molly, Olivia and Sadie who all did sterling work almost running themselves into the ground and most of the core team of adults who as usual gave their all. We held them, with Emily ensuring their attempts on goal came to nothing but once again those goals eluded us. The game ended at 0-0 but with another sub or two for the rematch we have high hopes.
POM - Molly - she ran her socks off, fought for every ball and is developing some very nifty stick skills.
