The B team started the first game at a slow pace against Leeds Adel. Leeds scoring 2 early goals though we did get ourselves back into the game when Archie hit the ball to Oscar who ran hard at the defenders and stuck the ball into the goal. Jacob in goal made some instinctive saves and the defence of Freddie and Jack made some excellent tackles to relieve the pressure. In the second against Bingley bees we were caught napping when the Bingley attack came at us and scored twice. The team did recover with Jacob in goal making some good stops, Jack and Sebastian cleared the call to Oscar and Rupert who both had attempted shots on goal the game ended 2-0 to Bingley. By the third game against Doncaster the team were now switched on and ready to play hockey. Oscar ran at the defence, went round the goaly and put the ball past the keeper. With Jack now in the midfield we were retaining the ball this meant the whole team pushed up the pitch. Rupert took the ball into the D, got past the defender and scored. From the restart Archie tackled a Doncaster player and got the ball, past it to Rupert who hit the ball into the D for Oscar to score. Again from the restart Freddie got the ball from a Doncaster player and passed it to Oscar who took the into the D and hit the ball between the keepers pads. We got the ball and with a minute left to play Jack passed the ball to Rupert who hit the ball with a reverse stick into the goal so the game ended 5-0 to Thirsk.
