YYHL DIV 4 - THIRSK: 4 HARROGATE 2nds: 1

A poor first half performance was replaced with a great second half display. Thirsk played poorly in the first half giving the ball away to easily and giving away too many penalty corners, resulting in Harrogate eventually converting one. Second half the team re-established the passing game that had worked so well against Bradford and almost immediately scored with Jack Foxley scoring after good pressure in the D. Our second goal came a couple of minutes later with a great shot again from Jack Foxley. This seemed to knock Harrogate's confidence and Thirsk controlled the game with Sam Kelly scoring the next and Connor Wilkinson scoring the last with final result of 4-1. A very satisfying second half performance which has seen the Team promoted to Div 3 of the YYHL U16 Boys which will be on Sunday 14 October 18 venue TBC. The players voted for their Man of the Tournament which was shared between Callum Crisp & Jack Foley
