As you will all know by now, as a result of the Covid-19 restrictions we have had to cancel our popular Summer Residential Camps.
We understand how disappointing this will have been for many of our regular students and with the prospect of a few more weeks at home we have been trying very hard to come up with an alternative solution that ties in with all of the current sporting authority guidelines.

We can now officially announce our new 2020 SUMMER PROGRAMME.

Starting w/b 13th July we are running a 6 week programme of weekly 2 hour sessions in Hockey, Cricket, Rugby and for the first time ... Netball.
The sessions will take the form of 'cluster' groups of no more than 5 children to 1 coach as per National Governing Body Guidelines - this will be continually monitored. Hand sanitisation and toilet facilities will be provided and follow Covid-19 Government Guidelines. There will be three 2 hr time slots on each day and time slots will be allocated based on numbers booked and age ranges closer to the start date.

The 6 week course will cost £180 and no part bookings will be allowed. The age range this summer will be from 7 yrs to 16 yrs old and all sessions will take place at Pocklington School.
Players must bring their own food / drinks and equipment.

The following days will be allocated for each sport and all ages will attend on the same day. Once we have received all of the bookings we will divide the 'cluster' groups by age / experience and of course try to keep friends together if requested. You will be notified closer to the start date which time slot you have been allocated:

HOCKEY:
Fridays (starting 17th July until 21st August)

Course content will cover fitness and conditioning, warm-up routines, skill rotations which will be supported with as much game play through small sided games as appropriate.
