Bingley Bees first team find Thirsk 3rds relaxed.

The team yesterday were Andy in goal Mike, Michael, Joseph and Ken in defence. Matty, Owen, Liam and Conner in midfield. Jonathan and Alex in attack. The subs were George, Callum, Hugo and Arthur. It would be easy to be negative after the first half being 4-0 down. The team were not as aggressive as Bingley who seemed to be able to make most tackles theirs. After the break Thirsk came out with more confidence, the young players in the team showed that there is real hope for next season; Arthur, Callum, Matty and Conner all played out of there skins and the play was rarely out of the Bingley half. Liam, Jonathan and Alex unlike in the first half made in roads in the Bingley defence. Liam got the ball to Alex in the D, Alex pushed it past the keeper. Despite having 5 short corners, these could not be converted, and the game ended 7 -1 to Bingley. Thanks to Darren and Richard for umpiring despite the continual complaining by the Bingley captain. Not impressed by his attitude, especially as they were winning from as early as the 5th minute.
