A dry day in March at Harrogate for some goals.

The U10 boys took part in the last league fixture of the season at Harrogate. They played three games, each of 20 minute halves and came out with two wins and a loss. They beat Driffield and Hull team 6-0. then beat Leeds 4-0 but finally seccumbed to Ben Rhydding 1-0. The passing was all a coach could ask for, playing the ball around the team which was why we were able to score the goals we did. So that all the squad could have even time playing, some were moved into positions that they would not have been a first choice, but they accepted the challange and came up trumps.
Well done boys you all did really well. Defence kept out the several attempts the opposition made to get into the D supporting the keeper who made some great saves when needed. The goals came easily after some strong through balls into the D where the forwards found the space passed the keepers. Midfield supported the forwards and the defence so the team worked well as a team.
Thanks also to Amy for umpiring which meant that was a job less for the team manager.
Also to the parents who supported with cheering and shouts of encouragement.
All round a very rewarding performance making a really chuffed coach.
