All players were great and should be really proud, I will not pull out anyone player in particular they were all amazing, Lizzie, Nancy, Emillia, Tilly, Sophie, Kuhle, Annabelle, Alice, Olivia & Libby -- be proud -- not just great hockey players but a great bunch of girls also.
A great set of results against some stiff opposition:
Ben Rhydding B's won 4-0
Harrogate B's won 4-0
Leeds Adel A's drew 1-1
Sheffield A won 2-0
Ben Rhydding A's won 2-1
Finished on 14 points winning the B league by 2 clear points -- we therefore go into next season with our Brumbie team joining our Ace's team in the top division -- given the Ace's also did us proud by winning the Yorkshire League what a great day for Thirsk.
As ever thank you parents for the ongoing support and for taking the time to ensure your girls enjoy their sport. Hopefully will see most of you this coming Friday. I have not forgotten my promise to the girls if they won promotion -- shiny new hockey balls are currently on route.
