Another gorgeous morning for hockey on Sunday 9th July. Having been promoted last time, we were back in Division 1, but hey, it's tough at the top isn't it?!!
A draw v Wakefield, a win v Ben Rhydding, but defeated by York, Harrogate and Leeds. But we were competitive in all the matches, and certainly did Thirsk proud.
Team manager Sophie Carus said,
"It's been great doing this summer hockey, from my perspective. I hope the boys and girls have all enjoyed it as much I have. Many thanks for all your commitment and support. Enjoy your summer off, and I look forward to seeing you all back in September."
