A hard weekends work for all the team.

Thanks to those who were able to transport their lads to Brigshaw College on Sunday morning, especially the three U14s playing up an age group. Unfortunately
it seemed that the boys had forgotten each other's names in the first match, so despite much endeavour, we were unable to string many passes together, but kept finding the opposition players, losing 0-2 to Wakefield 2. Straight on again playing Leeds Adel, the team were transformed and immediately attacked the opposition D, putting regular pressure on the Adel defence, but unable to turn half chances into anything better. Against the run of play Adel scored and we were unable to reply: 0-1. All the boys worked really hard on the ball and off the ball, but nobody could quite convert. The third match saw us against the strongest team, Leeds. We did manage to pressure their D, but most of the work was by our defence, and eventually Leeds were able to put 2 goals past us. Not outclassed in any match but just not able to score.
