Thirsk were prepared for a tough battle, but started fast with an early Jake Bowers goal settling any nerves. Dominating possession and moving the ball across the pitch, Thirsk found Boston Spa defending resolutely and trying to hit back on the break, but offered few chances. A second goal just came just before the break when Tom Westgate eventually put away a goal mouth frenzy. After half time, Thirsk made their possession count more, and despite some nasty stickwork to Jake's leg, he managed to slip the ball back to Arthur Webster-Jones for the first of his hat-trick, each placed precisely into the far corner. Phil Bell also stepped up from defence with a mazy run for his opener and followed up with a second from a short corner. Thirsk maintains its second place in the league. Final score 7-0. Man of the match Phil Bell.
