Thirsk knew that they needed to win to maintain control of the promotion race and coasted to a comfortable win at Boston Spa. After the opening goal, handed to Joseph Shannon by Jake Bowers, Sam Kelly doubled the lead by casually lobbing the prone keeper, and George Hunt put the result beyond doubt with the third. Further goals arrived at regular intervals throughout the match with limited activity for the Thirsk defence. Good work from Matty Raynor feeding midfield and forwards, but man of the match was Jake Bowers for work rate, goals and assists. Final score Thirsk 8 - 1 winners.
